Below you will find the answers to our frequently asked questions. If you still have a question after reviewing the information below, please contact us at support@seventhandshire.com or direct message us on Instagram.

GENERAL

Does Seventh + Shire offer custom pricing for large orders?
Yes! Please email support@seventhandshire.com with details about what you’re looking to order and when you need the products. If you're a retailer or agent/broker, visit this page to learn more about our wholesale options.
Can Seventh + Shire create private labels/custom labels?
Currently, we do not allow for our candles to be white-labeled. However, we do offer custom labels and packaging for wholesale orders, corporate gifts, and party favors. Visit this page to learn more.
Do you offer refills on Seventh + Shire candles?
Because of COVID and because it's not very sustainable for customers to ship vessels back to us, we don't offer refills. However, if you clean out your candle container and repurpose it, send us a picture for 10% off your next order.
Do you host candle-making events/private parties?
Unfortunately, not at the moment, but that may change. Stay tuned.

SHIPPING + RETURNS

Will my Seventh + Shire purchase arrive gift-wrapped?
All Seventh + Shire candles arrive in the signature black box tied with a black satin ribbon. You'll also notice at checkout that there is a space where you can make a note for us to include a personalized message and/or priceless invoice. Should you decide not to include a personalized message, the recipient will receive a note from Alex (our founder).
Do you ship internationally?
We wish, but not yet. For now, we only ship domestically. We're working on the best, most sustainable way to ship our candles internationally. Until we solidify that, send us an email at support@seventhandshire.com if you want us to ship to your country! Providing us with this information will help with our research, and we can keep you posted on when we start shipping internationally.
When can I expect to receive my order?
Most orders ship within 3 business days, and some orders may take up to 2 weeks to ship depending on product availability. Once shipped, orders take approximately 4-6 days to arrive.

Please keep in mind if you preorder an item, the approximate ship date is displayed under the preorder button on the product page.
My candle was damaged in transit. Can I return it?
If any part of your order was damaged in transit, send photographic evidence to support@seventhandshire.com along with your order number within 7 days of the original shipment date, and we will replace the item(s).

CANDLE CARE

How long will my candle last?
Our candles are created with natural products and no preservatives, so to ensure you experience the full potential of your candle, it is best to burn it within a year.
I've never had a wooden wick candle before. What's the difference?
Wooden wicks are a more sustainable wick than most other wicks. As a result, you can expect a cleaner burn. You shouldn't see dark smoke coming from your wick or sooting around your container. Also, trimming your wick before each use is important. (It's also important for most other non-wooden wicks.) If you notice your flame is tall (e.g., taller than an inch), most likely you need to trim your wick.
How often do I have to trim my wick?
Trim your wick(s) to approximately 1/4" before each use. This will keep the wick clean & promote a more even burn.
My flame is dim or extinguishes itself. What do I do?
Send us a picture and/or video, and we can take a look at what's going on.
Since my candle is made using natural wax, can I use the oil on my body?
We would strongly advise against that. Yes, your candle is made from coconut soy wax, but it is not intended to be used on your body. The best candles to use on your body or in bath water are beeswax candles or candles specifically designed for skin contact, which doesn't apply to our candles.
How long can I burn my candles?
If you have a Discovery Kit, the mini candles can burn for a maximum of 3 hours at a time. The Traveler and Tumbler tins can burn for a maximum of 4 hours at a time.
